Casa of Kari
I worked with Kari Estrada at an ad agency for about two years during my time in Monterrey. I was a freelancing at the time, and was the contributing photographer for a lifestyle blog the agency was creating for women in Mexico. Kari was the creative director. Since moving back to the states, I have watched her completely blossom into a homebody and blogger in a land where a lot of houses can look the same, and where little design risks are ever taken. After watching her home take shape for the past two years, and knew I had to go photograph it while I was visiting the land of palm trees and mountains this past Christmas. This is the first photoshoot done with my new camera, the Canon EOS R. All images were taken with a 35mm lens.
